Not only do our club members enjoy complimentary entry to our upcoming Open House, incredible additional discounts on our award-winning wines, and an invitational to join us for Family Dinner (more info below) but it is also almost time for our final releases of 2015: 2014 Musque Chardonnay, 2014 Viognier and 2013 estate Syrah. These wines are very limited production and most of our inventory will go directly into the hands (and cellars) of our club members, so you might never even see them in our tasting room.

The cost for our Winter Selections is just $153 and includes 3 bottles of 2014 Viognier, 2 bottles of 2014 Musque Chardonnay, and one bottle of 2013 estate Syrah. We plan to begin shipping on Monday, December 7th. There is a pickup party event on Dec. 13 that is available to members who accept this selection.

Fall Events with Left Coast Cellars

Fall is in the air and the leaves in the vineyards are beginning their annual transformation. Now is a great time to come out and see the Fall colors. Our wood fired pizza oven will be open all day on the weekends serving up a variety of gourmet pizzas that pair beautifully with our Estate wines. 

On Saturday October 24, 2015 we will do as the French do and celebrate Champagne Day in our Tasting Room with our Queen Bee Sparkling wine and our recently released Methode Champenoise 2011 Balnc de Noir sparkling wine. 

Also of the 24th we will be participating in the City of Independence's Discover MI Town passport tasting and tour event in downtown Independence. 

On October 28, 2015 we will be hosting Wine Wednesday at Bentley's Grill in the Grand Hotel in downtown Salem. 

On Halloween Weekend (October 28-Nov 1st) we encourage goblins and ghouls of all ages to come out and enjoy the estate. We will have lawn games and our giant 1,000 pound pumpkin on display, with wine and candy pairings for the adults. 

New Fall Hours

The leaves are changing, the final grapes are being harvested off the vines and the days are getting shorter. Fall is here and so are new hours for our Tasting Room and Cafe. We are still serving pizza from our wood fired oven 12-5 on weekends and starting on Monday October 12, 2015 we will be switching the Tasting Room hours to 12-5 daily.

Join Salem Audubon field trip leaders Brandon Wagner and Tim Johnson, along with Left Coast's Ivy Hover for this special birding morning on our LIVE Certified Sustainable estate. Starting at 9 am we will meet in the winery parking lot to embark on a 2+ mile birding hike in the vineyard, at noon we will enjoy lunch and wine tasting.
We hosted a similar event in May, and can't wait to do it again!

Left Coast has preserved many of its native oaks stands and the vineyards are honeycombed around this natural habitat. The property also includes lovingly cultivated organic gardens and fields of wild flowers. The result of this biodiversity approach to property stewardship is rich diversity of wildlife, include a wealth of woodland bird species.

HWY 99 Detours in Effect (September 12th and 13th)

Construction on HWY 99 has forced a road closure at the railroad crossing just North of the vineyard. With the needed detour there's now a more scenic way to get to Left Coast Cellars using these alternate routes.

SOUTHBOUND from Amity on HWY99:

NORTHBOUND from Rickreall

Please use extra caution and allow for additional travel time.

Despite the road signs, the entire section of Highway 99W will not be closed. Travelers driving NORTHBOUND to Left Coast Cellars can tell the flagger that they are headed to Left Coast Cellars and will be ALLOWED to drive NORTHBOUND on the 99 as normal. 

Truffle-mania at Left Coast Cellars

Truffle-mania is back!

We are proud participants in the Oregon Truffle Festival and we also celebrate this wonderful delicacy in our tasting room.

Our Truffle-mania featured wine is 2013 Truffle Hill Chardonnay, a new vintage at a special price of just $22 (reg. $24).

We will be offering truffle menu items, including Truffle Mac ‘n’ Cheese, along with truffle cheeses and salami.

We also have The Joel Palmer HouseOregon Black Truffle Oil and their classic Oregon White Truffle Oil available for purchase.

We have other surprises in our tasting room as well, you’ll just have to come out and see for yourself.

Truffle-mania continues through Monday, February 16th, 2015.
